    I designed a spacer that will allow me to mate a th700R4 to a np205 via the np205/TH350 adapter... only problem is, the guy who was gonna machine it for me seems to have flaked. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

    I have the thing fully modeled (3d) and dimensioned (in 2 axes) on AutoCAD... so design isn't a big issue, I just need someone to crank the thing our for me. Anyone interested?

    It would be easier to just buy the output shaft for the 700R4 from Advanced Adapters. It uses the TH350/205 adapter still.

    <shakes his head>

    how is that easier? I'd have to pay a local tranny shop to completely tear down my new Raptor and install the $171+s/h shaft... sounds like a lotta $/hassle to me. With a spacer, it'd be bolt-up and go. Not to mention cheaper...

    I may be interested in building this spacer. I'm a machist for a areospace company. If want you can e-mail me and we can hash it out.

    Not really as stated and I hate how close the front driveshaft is to my tranny pan. With the spacer it would have given me more room (I can't run a 1ton CV up front because of it), next time I will definitely go the spacer route. Unfortuneately at the time I did the conversion the AA short shaft was my only option, next time I'll know better.
