The money that bought my 79' TA was originaly supposed to buy my bosses 69 R/T Charger 440magnum. I got fed up with him, because for a year now i have been asking him to get me one picture of the car and he hasnt. The car is in NM, im in OH. So i just said forget it. The 69 Charger is my favorite car and has been since i was a kid. The 77 TA(Bandit Edition) is my second favorite. But im happy with the gold 79' i just bought. Some where East of Albiqerque(sp?) in a barn is a blue with white top 69' R/T Charger....or so my boss says.

When i was 19 i had a 69 Dodge Polara Convertible. Man that thing was kinda fun(even with the trunk rotted out).About a year later it blew a head gasket and i sold it to a Mopar freak for $600.
Other than the 69 Charger, i personaly dont like Mopar.

I've had a few Mopars. Nothing rare or anything like that, just a couple of fun cars.
My first Mopar was a 69 Polara 4 door given to me by a family friend, I had to replace the 727 Torq-flite (found one for free) and the freeze plugs were rotted. It was an awesome car that met an undeserved and untimely death.
My second Dodge was a 72 Dart Swinger 2 door with a 318, I stuffed a q-jet 4 barrel on it with some free flowing 2 1/2" exhaust...boy did that ever wake up the 318![IMG] It had a sure-grip and 2.73's and I managed to blow that in a few weeks. I replaced it with an 8 3/4" 3.23 posi rear out of a 440 'Cuda. The car was so light it would light the tires for a hundred feet no problems...well the only problem was geting traction. What a total sleeper, it was a cream color with a green vinyl roof and dog dish hub caps [IMG] It used to surprise the hell out of people.
My second Dart was a 68 Dart GT I bought for $100 with a blown slant six (I didn't think that was possible[IMG]) I stuffed another 318 into that one with a carter 625 on it and a dual point distributor. Promptly scattered the tranny [IMG] but got it rebuilt with a healthy shift kit. That car was runing the little 13" tires so even with the 2.73 geared rear end it would still launch like crazy. The body was a litle rough on that one and I got too busy to fix it so I traded it in. That was the end of my Dodge days....for now, I always keep my eyes open for an early Dart. 2900 lbs with a V-8 whats not to like?

Lets see I had 4 Charger's, 1 Superbee, 2 Dusters, 1 NewYorker, 2 Magnums 1 was T-top, so I guess you can say I like Mopar's. A friend of mine has a 69 R/T that has been restored that I may sometime buy. It's just $15,000 more then I want to spend now.

I used to own the second-to-last Valiant ever made in the US. 1976 Valiant Brougham. Straight 6, 1-bbl carb, bench seat, 8-track, ran like hell! Haha. We swapped in a 4bbl and an FM booster and drove on. Kept blowing head gaskets, had to rebuild the motor twice in 2 weeks. My grandfather wanted to get rid of it (he gave it to me) so we traded it in for my truck. We've been regretting it ever since. I'm really a Pontiac guy, but I would never pass up an old Mopar. Anybody ever hear of a 72 Dodge Phoenix? My dad used to have one. Totalled in a racing accident. That big steel beast saved his life. I can't imagine hitting anything in any of my cars at 90 and coming out unscathed.
