I'm running Hedmans/Flows with 2½" pipe, but no "H" - Not sure of the difference in headers, but on my 85 I've got tons of room around the T-Case.

im running true dual exhaust in my jimmy headers,2.5 inch galvanized pipes,40 series flowmasters and dump offs. sorry no H-Pipe cuz of the front driveshaft any ways the only way i could get rid of the clearance prob. i had to take it to a shop and have the guy run it along side of the inner side of the chasis, it looks great and i have zero clearance prob.

I am running dynomax headers and 40 series flowmasters on my 82. But no H -pipe .I did run into clearance problems at the t-case and had to have some custom bends made to make it work, I had the bends go toward the frame rails and up and to each side of the t-case so i can take out the transmission and t-case without removing the exhaust.I cant see any where a H pipe could fit on mine

Not running headers, but heres a half ass shot of the factory diesel duals (either 2.25 or 2.5" never measured) on my truck. Passenger side is a little tight, but thats not even the right transfer case for those duals, and there is still enough room.

For the price of getting your exaust sett up your better off just putting the headman headers on that will give you the clearence you need. Kill two birds with one stone.

I have true duals on the &( running heddman headers and 40 series flows. I had a shop custom bend the whole system for clearance.
