Any one use icegaurd for dampening??

    I was just wondering if anyone has used icegaurd for dampening?? It is a roofing material that is almost identical to dyna mat it is like $70 for a huge imean huge role. It also has adhesive on it. Iwas thinking like 2 or 3 layers. what do you guys think?? Thanks

    I am using this in my VW bug right now. It's a lot of work to put it on, but it dampens well. I have never used dynamat, so I can't really compare the two, except for price... Grace Ice and Water Shield was $90 for a 225 square foot roll.

    It's adhesive is really sticky, it's easiest to put on if you let the roll get cold (easy in the winter), cut it and put it on, then use a heat gun to soften it and shape it.
