I bought a stock cruise control and I am trying to get it hooked up. I need to know where the black and yellow wires go. Iknow one is the speed sencer, but don't know where it is on the truck. On my 86 Sub. it is in the speedo, but it is mechanical and my Blazer is electroniclly controlled. any help is appreciated.

Try a chevy dealership I've gotten several wiring diagrams and part break-downs from them.

I know the HAynes manual has a good amount of wiring diagrams but they are pretty generic. Have you tried looking at them? Just a thought, till you come across something better. The biggest problem with them is they dont tell you where anything is located. OH, hell, its a long shot. Do you have an LMC catalog? Look through it, for the Cruise control, and see if it doesn't show you anything. I figured a few things out with the heater control looking at it. Sorry I couldnt help anymore.

Will work for beer, parts and tools.

OK here goes: Find the cruise control box. It should be next to the iritating buzzer above the gas petel. Follow the wire harnest. you will have 3 gray wires break off to the break light switch. 1 pink wire that goes to the fuse panel. A small cluster of 4 wires that goes to the signal switch on the collum. That should leave only 2 wires. 1 black and 1 yellow. Where do those two go to? Thanks guys for all your help.
