I've got a Tekonsha Prodigy that I like alot. It's basically a plug and play on newer vehicles too. 15 minutes and you have trailer brakes.

I also have a prodigy and love it. Had many other ones that just don't compare.

Prodigy, only thing I've driven that was better was the ultra fancy one that plumbs into the brake lines and senses hydraulic pressure.

Everybody calm down, it's going to be ok. If TSGB can post rabbit tech I think a smidge of truck talk is allowed.

Shorta Nut - That depends, what's your tow rig?

Should definitely be plug and play. Our '04 Ford was and I know I saw plug and play harnesses for all of the big three when I bought it.

I also use the Tekonsha Prodigy. I love it better than any other controler I've used. Do a search this was discussed a couple of months ago.
