Does anyone have any tips for building a cargo rack?
I'm too cheap to buy one, and the ones that I've seen aren't big enough for my Burban.
I'm planning on building one out of 3/4 square tube to measure about 5 x 10. The floor will probably be plywood to keep things simple.
I've already notched my raingutters and put in stronger raingutters made for yakima racks.
My wife, four year old son, and I will be driving the Alaska Highway next month, and I are planning on camping in the back. I would like to carry the majority of my cargo on the roof in order to save room. No tents this time of year with the bears coming out of hibernation!!
    Any ideas would be great.
Also any tips for building a bed in the back of the Burban would be good too.
