Went to an auto auction today. They had an '84 Military Blazer (M1009) that went for $1100. It did need some major work but ran and drove. Seats were ripped to shreds, needed hood, doors, seats, tires bald. 70k+ miles, ran really good. Just wondering what ya'll though, would of made a cool off-road toy. My M1009 was $4000 with 1400 miles and it really showed, especially after seeing the blazers at this auction!

Yeah, that's really good!! I've seen them go without motors for $3k, so a runner/driver for 1100 is great. I'm jealous, that's exactly what I'm after..

They also had a trashed non running one that went for $100! Suspension destroyed, no driveshafts, no steering shaft, wouldn't run or turn over. Very very bad!

There's a used truck dealer in Colorado Springs that had a solid looking one parked behind their shop. I think it said something about an engine problem, but they only were asking $1800 for it. Don't know if it's still sitting there or not.

Hey, just an FYI, if any of you fine CK5er's are in north Jersey, a few M1009's and an M1008 are about to go on the block at the DRMO in Lakehurst.
Unfortunately, I've been banned from all spending related to my vehicles until we get a house, so I'm out of this one...
