Well, its in an 81' chevy 1/2 (not a blazer /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif ) and its pretty much right behind the driver-side headlight. It looks about like a coffee can (bout that size) and has vaccuum hoses running to it. What is it? I really have no clue. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Is it sitting on the inner fender? It could be a vacumn cruise control.
    Any pictures?

Yeah, the carbon canister deal sounds right. The cruise is on the inner fender, thats different. Can I get rid of the carbon cannister? What would be the drawbacks? Advantages? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Do You have emission's testing up there, in the frozen north? If not take the canister out and toss it, plug the line's at the carb/fuel pump. It'll clean up under the hood a little. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
