The auction has yet to start on that rig. I believe the acquisition value relates to what the government paid for it.

Yeah, Swanson is right. The first auction is for 3 new Dana60s and 2 that aren't quite new. Right now you get all 5 for $3700 /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. I think Boyce wants $3000 for one.

3 60s and the other two in the crates are something else. 14 bolts? All the stuff on those auctions seems to end up going for top dollar anyway. I would expect that auction to at least top $5000 by the time it is over.

I didn't notice the 2nd two are a different part numer. Good point /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
According to this auction the other part number looks like a front 10 bolt.

All 5 are 60's. I have had my eye on them for a month. It looks like the auction is going to get driven up to a rediculous amount!

The part # shows the two crated axles to be 10 bolts. M1009 fronts.

/forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif They got more for those axles than the last 2 M820 5 ton 6x6 vans.

Thats a 5 Ton rockwell and pretty much useless! I've been schooled by the King of Rockwells - YellerBlazer! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Plus, why would anyone pay $5855 for 5 Dana 60's? The resale value is not that much. I wouldn't pay $1000 for a stock D60 when you can buy a whole truck for $1300-$1500! Mike got the smokin deal a while back on the lot of 8 IIRC for that price!

    It wasn't just the axles.
It was the whole running/driving truck! $4-5K /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I wanted one for a camper!
