Like the title says, does your truck have a name?

    If so what is it?

I don't have one for mine, but I've thought I'd like to come up with one. First I wanted to see if a lot of people name their trucks, or if I'm just wierd.

This '77 Crew Cab is named Brutus, but it had that name when I got it.

My friend had a '78 Suburban we called Harry, but we stuck to B.S. (Brown Suburban).

Everything else that I have is referred to by generic description terms.

"The Chevy" Never named it beyond that. Normally other people name your truck by consensus.

May be that we should have a naming contest on CK5.

Well I have the "GMC", the "Dodge" and the "Ford". That about does it for me.

Considering that's what they are - it works.

I named it a couple of things when I was replacing the rear body mounts. I renamed it a few other things when I was pulling the pitman arm off. Come to think of it there has been a lot of names for it.:D

every automobile around here has a name. after having sumthin for about a week, someone will name it. some have human names, some are named for the color, its always different, but they all wind up with names, and no one names there own ride.

My yukon is named ZenTree because I have spastic friends. The short version of the story is, we were wheelin illegally, a cop drove by, and my friend started saying "you cannot see us, for we are the ZenTree, the ZenTree will protect us" etc. For some reason, the name stuck. So keeping with the Zen(insert plant type here) names, the jeep got named ZenWeed. But Chris calls it Zen Crap. I can see why....:D

That's kinda what I'm thinking. My navy buddies are coming out in a week and they've never seen the K5 before. Since they will be riding in it for a few days I was thinking they might come up with a good name.

 Might be a good idea. But I'm not sure if I want to open that can of worms with this bunch of wise guys!:wink1:

:rotfl: :haha: That's a very cool story. I like it!:thumb:

All of my highschool friends refer to my truck as, "The Truck". Every1 else who had a lifted truck it was [their name] truck (Donald's truck, Walt's Truck, etc), but mine was THE truck. On occasion i've called it lucy.......short for lucyfer, but thats only when its acting demonically. Ive also called it a few other things, but i would just end up with the [censored] tags if i typed them out.
