As most of you know I got layed off in January, and I still havent had any luck finding a new job. So if anybody needs some work done on their rigs or any vehicles let me know. I will work for a good price. I can do anything from motor swaps, to gear installs, to locker installs, to diagnostics. I own scanners to be able to work on cars up to 2002. Any help is greatly apriciated guys.

Was it you who makes roll cages? If so, and you have a good price (meaning cheaper than off the shelf /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif ), I am thinking about getting a full cage and maybe a slick safari rack. I was going to have Mountaineer make me one. Feel like welding and bending some tubes for cheap?

I do cages as well. I am cheaper than any custom or 4x4 shop I can tell you that much.

Can you beat this - Off the shelf

I don't want to sound like I am beating you up. I just want to get an inexpensive cage and thought I would throw the work your way if you wanted it.

Dont forget the shipping($80-$120), labor of notching and fitting, and the welding. What you see in the pictue is not how it comes, trust me. I have ordered kits before. Is that the design you want? Do you want a 8 point style or 10 point?

I am not sure what I want. The reason I want one is - My rig was rolled and the roof was smashed in. I welded on a new roof and I am pretty sure I did a good job but would feel safer with a cage. Afterall, I will be hauling around my kids in it. I want one that is as out of the way as possible and is a full cage. It would also be nice if it also supported the safari rack with some type of quick release feature so I can still get it in the garage once in a while /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Or maybe just a cage from the back seat to the back of the truck. This way the old lady won't complain about crawling over some tubes to get in.

If you can draw me up a design you want, I can give you a price. I can do anything from mild to wild.

Right now I am thinking about a cage from the back seat back to the rear. Just something to protect the rear passengers and provide support for the B post (between the seats) I welded. It would be nice if I could also jump up and down on the safari rack as well;)

Let me put some more thought into it and I'll look at some other designs and I'll get back to you.
