how did they last? what terrain are they best suited for? and how would they stack up against a TSL?
I can try to help you out a little. I have a set and love them. I use them mainly for on road driving. I have over 60,000 miles on them and I love the tread wear. quit, great in rain and snow. I have taken it off road a few times and did great in the mud. I've never had TSL's so I don't know how they will compare to them. There is one bad thing about them. You will need to rotate them every 5,000 miles and make sure your front end is alined and good balljoints. I say that because I had a bad tie-rod end and drove 10,000 miles on it before fixing. It wore my tires down 50%. I also have drove 8,000+ with a balljoint going bad on the same side. Both tires on that side are about 10% to 30% tread left. My other tires I bet still have 40% of tread left. Hope this will help you out a little. I am sure others will post also.
Anyone have opinions on the other Pro-Comp tires? They will be having a 4 for 3 sale here next month, and I'm pretty sure I'll pick up 5 of the mud terrains.
I have 33x12.50 Xterrains and love them also i have had them on my truck for almost 2 years now and they are still great offroad tires. We used to have this muddy hill that we would all take turns going up as slow as possible its pretty damn steep and long and my truck would out crawl my buddys rangers 1 is on TSL's the other was bfg's. Good tread wear Good offroad Grip havent had any probs with them offroad or on road. Allround great tire.
I ran the same set of 35/12.5/15 Pro Comp at's for about 3 and a half years, and I realy like them. Got them from FWP 3 get one free deal also. Switched over to MTR's now /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
