    Anybody seen Realsquash\'s S-10?

I know he had been planning on building an S-10 with a BBC, 1 ton axles, etc., but I have not seen him on this site for quite a while.

Anybody know if he is done and has anybody seen it?

Last I heard Andy finished the swap, but I have no clue if he ended up taking it to Dresser yet. Definetly would be cool to look at... can't say I've seen a mid 90's S10 on a blazer frame... (just older style 92 and back) none the less w/ a BBC w/ custom port injection.

Riz, you better pray those wheel housing go in smoothly. Mine thought it would be cute and not slip right in. Course, they didn't reckon that I had a porta-power. Nothing like a couple of tons of hydraulic press to fit things in. They look great now after seam-sealing and the white Morton's spray on bedliner. I don't know if they have seperate Blazer or pick-up wheel housings but I'd opt for the pick-up. They have welded nuts that just bolt to the bed where as the Blazer has to be spot welded in.

<font color=purple> they dropped right in or should I say drop right up ...... I put them up through the wheel opening from the outside ....... they fit perfectly ! I got one truck well and one Blazer well ........ I'm just going to drill out the Blazer on at the spot weld locations and boltit all in !

    Re: Anybody seen Realsquash\'s S-10?

I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the Blazer on Dresser's tight trails being I'm not that experienced and I'd like to keep the Blazer in somewhat decent shape since it is my daily driver for the moment...But I'll be d@mned if it is gonna be a PP. I have to talk to my bud Jason... he runs w/ Go-Four four wheelers and It sounds like they are pretty hardcore (or maybe that is just him LOL [IMG]) but see where people are wheeling these days. But definetly time to get you, wakedog, bklier, and whoever else is in the area that is game out wheeling.

My last rig (a 79 Bronco) came out of there with some major carnage! I know back when Andy had his mint 78 pickup he took it through Dresser and even a top notch wheeler like him manage to bang up the cherry truck. There's a reason why almost everything is a S10 on blazer frame, toyota, or Jeep up there.

There is a private land plot down by bklier's place in Fairbult called Bauer's Pit that looks to have a great mix of really steep hills, mud, and trails. I definetly want to go check it out. I also know there were some trails out by Buffalo that while tight, they aren't as damage prone as Dresser is IMO. Then of ourse the mud pits up 169 and by duluth. Gotta be more spots in WI too... maybe can go meet up w/ Andy and Brent out there somewhere or something.

    Re: Anybody seen Realsquash\'s S-10?

I don't mind the scrapes and minor bangs... I already have a ding in the back from some brush and banged the crap out of what used to be my driver's side rocker panel. I just don't want big dents and stuff... I slide in the fresh mud up at Dresser into a couple of trees... on nailed the push bumper I had on it... other was in the side.

Yeah I need to sort out some kinks here before snow flies and then I should be set. Come spring the new motor will go in and somewhere along the way I'll decide to keep the 12B or go 14FF, get some 8" rear springs in with new shock (these bds shocks suck canal water) and get some sliders.

Hopefully once that is done and new bigger tires go on... the money sucking will stop. Then the drag car project can suck away [IMG] [IMG]
