Where did you get your shims and they are a 3 piece set as I understand it right?
i shimmed mine, just slapped a hunk of steel on the bandsaw and cut it at about 7*.
i never counter shimmed the bolt heads and havent had problems yet.... 2 or 3 trips
Anybody else? Looking to do just a 2 degree shim. Where to buy?
Try here. He has 3,5,7,10 degree shims listed, but should be able to make you some 2 degree shims. He is also a member of ck5
3 piece set?
Yep, 3 piece. PM'ed you.
sorry, not to hijack the thread, just didnt want to start another shim thread.
how do you figure out what shim you need? or should say the easiest way?
i have 10" Superlift springs, move my shackle mount back like in the Tech Section, and added a set of DIY 6" shackles.
my pinion is approx parallel with the ground with my Dana44, so when i swap in my Dana 60 im assuming thats not going to change and i would still need to correct that, right?
