Could somebody measure how far the spring perch mounts from the brake drum, or even better from the backing plate. I'm welding on new perches and I know that center to center the perches are supposed to be 42.5" apart but I'm having a little trouble getting the axle centered. If I could get that measurement I'll mark where the perches need to be with White Out, that'll be alot easier to get it all lined up. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I don't have backing plates anymore...but from the square flange they bolt to I have 4.75" from the outboard side of that sqaure flange to the perch itself, and 7.25" to the inside edge of the perch.
