    October 15th is "sweetest day"... another valentines day type holiday started by American Greetings, back in the 40's.

    It was a marketing idea for them to sell more cards & candy. Since AG is a Cleveland based company, it's a big thing here.

    Not sure if it's spread to other parts of the country yet.

    Do you celebrate this in your area?

    I think it's a crock, myself, but Lisa ( of course ) thinks it's the greatest thing.

    As an obedient husband, and knower of my place in the food chain, I am off to get chocolate covered strawberries as a sacrifice, to maintain my happy home.
