I'm a little bummed that yesterday I thought about leaving my jacket home but ended up carrying it all day, and today, we have a blizzard...

What do you mean "tired of the weather"? It's been 70 degrees here all week.

And you live in Mass? HAHA sucks for you... I don't mind the cold and snow but its been messing with us lately. I got my header collector gaskets today but I can't install them till it gets warmer and the ground isn't coated in snow

Not that an update is important, but here's our bizarre evening:

    Empire around 5:45 today (sunset):

I think it's important that I say, in the name of honesty, I resisted the urge to photoshop an airplane in those pictures

I'm about 10 blocks uptown and one or two east from Penn, I walk to my building everyday.

I'm 1 block east of times square, I took a bunch of pictures of it during the "blizzard" today.

The Empire State building is on 34th and 5th, Penn is 34th and 7th. The observatory there is really cool in the summer on a clear day.

hmm... We have a perfect view from our conference room. Most of us still cringe if we're in a meeting and see a plane fly past it... You can almost hear my boss hold his breathe...

We went to NYC in Oct of 02. We really enjoyed it. We stayed at the hotel penn. Man, we walked all over manhatten. Walked from the hotel, up to central park one day, as well as the stops and detours along the way.... and we walked from battery park, to about 13th St. another day. Hell, we did a lot of walking in general... LOL. We plan to go back again some year. One of the guys from my fire station is going this summer.

We did a lot there, but we spent most of our time at different fire stations. My oldest daughter (now 7) loved NY, and still remembers the trip very well. Now when she see's NYC on TV she yells "New York!!" and parks in front of the set.. :D
