    Did you price it? I'm not sure if this is the same set up mentioned in a magazine a few months that was BIG bucks... looked cool but not for what they wanted.....

    i have been thinking about it. its seems like alot of work and money. i think it would be cool. but i keep coming back to the more parts the more there is to break thing.

    I wonder what it would take to put two front end dana60's in a truck, running one of them backward/flipped. You'd have to tub out the rear fender wells, fabricate some hydraulic's onto the steering arm and such. It would be a sweet way to negotiate some of those jeep trails by swinging the back end around them.... someone has to have tried this before!

    i was thinking of taking a rear D60 and having a shop press in tubes of the same length in so i don't have the ring gear spining the wrong way and keep the strenght of it in tact.

    Thats not a bad idea.. hydraulics for the steering part shouldn't be too hard as it doesnt need to be active with the front, just a manual shift of alignment at the right times and locked straight the rest of the time. I can think of quite a few times where I had to drag the backend over something because it had to follow the front end.

    yeah i have to drag my back end over lots of stuff and i get stuck in tight turns folwing things like jeeps and scouts. but i need to get some money befor i can even start. i havea whole dollar.
