Anyone get a 208 Rebuilt in the Bay Area?

    I got a spare 208 that I need rebuilt. Anyone have a shop they can recomend? I know almost any tranny shop might be able to do it but I wanted to check with you guys first.

    Give Marks Transmissions in Fremont a call and ask for Markie, 510-790-3322. He is a personal friend of mine and they do good work at a very reasonable price. Oh yeah, mention you will pay CASH, the price gets a little cheaper.

    Rod,

    The key word there is spare. If you don't absolutely need the thing why not rebuild it yourself? You could practice on it before you do the one that's in your truck. Why pay someone to do what you can learn yourself?

    Yeah I know, I'm just being a lazy a$$. My initial plan was to rebuild it myself but I just wanted to get some prices first. I'll probably end up doing it myself.
