Here is why i ask: i have a 93 burb 1/2ton. want to put the 3/4 ton 6 lug rear end in it from a pick up. i'm told they have lower gearing so i would have to bring the front up to match it. who sells R&Ps for the front diff? and are they any more expesive to have done than a solid front axle? thanks,

you'll want a good shop to change the gears for you...or, if you have a good mechanic, get him to do it. IFS is tough and kinda spendy on labor because you have to drop the whole front diff out...then you have to split the case.

the gears themselves aren't costly. new usually $120-$180...$200 with the install kit.
