I always keep the bass I catch they are good eating.
As CBBR said Tonys stuff is great on fish. Might have to check a few stores to find it.
I also like the Cajun Blackend seasoning on this page:www.louisianafishfry.com Goood stuff.

Just coat both sides with melted butter sprinkel on the seasoning and fry in oil. (Peanut oil is my favorite for fish.)

Here is another recipie I like for deep fried bass.

Get some Contadina Italian bread crumbs and some beer at the store.
1 have a beer you must be relaxed to deep fry bass. :)
Make a batter mixture out of of Beer, biskit mix or flour and an egg
2 wash of the bass fillets in cold water.
3 pat dry with a paper towell
4 Dredge the fillets thru a plate with a bunch of the Contadina bread crumbs coating both sides.
    5. Dip the coated filets in the batter then referigerate for 1/2 hour.
6 . Remove the fillets from the batter letting the excess batter drip off. Deep fry fillets 2 or 3 at a time in peanut oil till golden brown.

    Enjoy

Throw them back and go Crappie fishing. :D

Kidding, I know some people eat bass, I just don't care for them much. Too strong for me. Now Crappie on the other hand...........THAT is some fine eating.
