    looking for a cheap beater to get by with until i get a new one from santa.
    going camping next weekend, and i can't find my old one.
    anyone?

    I have a "head unit"(or whatever you call it) sitting at my house. It came in one of the trucks I had. There's no antenna or anything else, but you can have it if it helps. It's probably a cheapo & I have never tested it so I don't even know if it works.
    Now that I think about it, I think there's another one in the cab of the truck I'm building. It's in the place the radio would go. I think it's a cb, but never looked at it. Again no antenna.

    I have a good used cobra 148GTL I would like to sell, I need $100.00 though. Thats what I paid for it from another member on here but I decided to purchase and run the newer version of it instead so I don't need two of them.

    bill-do you work in sac? any plans to be slightly closer to stockton this week?

    I found the bits and peices here on this site.........just peiced what I liked together and wala! Also gottem on my rig as well 1 on each front fender &amp; 1 on the tail gate! Yes I work in Sac for Waste Management as Roll Off driver. I could meet you some where this weekend.....
