anyone have pic inside q-jet

    I just rebuilt mine a good carb kit has a complete break down of the carb.really not much to it.I do have the break down still I could send it to you in an e-mail if this helps.

    1977 k5-blazer 4"softride 3.5 in rear dana 44,12 bolt rear,now 350 &,205 t-case,465 trans,new headers and new 2 1/4 inch turbo muffler exaust.

    mines new i just needed to jet it down for utah,ijust finished it
    runs great thanks for the reply,and offer
    i was worried about it because i haven't worked on a q-jet before

    Sure, knock your self out. I don't know how much help they will be with a "stock" rebuld, but if it does help- great!

    Be sure to expoy the main and secondary wells, like on the link in the first replie. (grayish goop on the main-body pic)

    Check the throttle shafts for play (wiggle). It's pretty common for the primary throttle shaft to wear-out the aluminum throttle shaft body. Bronze bushings can installed.

    Good luck, I'm sure it'll go smoothly, they are not that tuff to rebuld.
