    X2.

Maybe try comparing the buildsheet with Warn and Ramsey.

There seems to be several new, lower cost, winch companies coming on the market. I would have to say the same and compare the build sheets and then find out about a warranty. I've seen guys burn out several differant brands of winches including warn. Warn was the only one with a lifetime warranty of those and also was easy to replace. I guess it depends mostly on how and how often you will use the thing.

Thing is, he wants it for a fullsize 78 chevy van he converted to 4wd. It is an absolute pig weight wise, ibeam for a rear bumper etc.
I wouldn't want to have to use my ramsey as a backup!
