I just got a nice compressor and now I need to add a 30amp 220v outlet to the shop. There is already a double post breaker in the subpanel that is not being used. I think with a wire up I found online I can wire the outlet.

I would just like some one to look at it all and tell me if I am going to kill myself. That would be bad...

Thanks for any help or good advise.

I would use 8/3 awg wire with a ground and a 30 amp breaker. Not to hard:D
