Just seeing if any of you guys and gals would be interested in white-faced gauges for your K5's. I'm talking to a guy who may be able to manufacture them cheaply. I'll be the guinnea-pig, using the gauges out of my 83 Jimmy, and will keep you all updated on the results if anyone says that they're interested.

How closely are they going to match the actual setup of the factory gauges? Is he taking yours and just refacing them? What about the backlighting?

Sorry for all the questions..............I din't mind upgrades as long as things still retain the OEM look.

I just sent off an e-mail to the guy asking if he can do them. A buddy of mine had a set made for his infinity, and they look great. The speedo only has MPH now and not KMH. I had to ask him about the needles too, since ours are solid and not see-through like my bud's car. I'll post something as soon as he gets back with me.

I know a company, Lincoln Motor Sports, that makes white face guages. They are really cheap, and usually they just need a donor dash. They also look original.

If your contact dosen't go through, or if they are too expensive (like over $75 - $100) then let me know and I will get in contact with Geno at LMS. I'm sure he would be glad to help.
