anyone painted their bumpers black?

    I did mine but the only pics I have are in my webshots and its all dirty so you can't really tell what it looked like.

    It's only temporary anyway until I get my new bumpers from 55willy.

    PM Sapper he did all the chrome pieces on his black. I am also considering this /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Im doing mine in herculiner /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif that way when I hit I get rear ended or hot in a parking lot theres no scraches on my bumpers.

    both my bumpers are black, pix in webshots link below. just about everything that isnt glass on my rig is black... so if pix of black parts is what ya want, thats the place to look. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

    I used a bumper paint that you could use on plastic, I really like the way it came out flat black. The front bumper shows the flat black to the black the I painted all the chrome...

    Did you make that rear bumper TONY or is that a 4x4Iron product?

    Not trying to hijack, but what kind of prep work would be needed, and what kind of paint would you use for this? I think it's a great idea. (Until DP_90K5 builds me some REAL bumpers, but gotta earn some cash first...) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    yes i did build it, but my next one will be ordered from 4X4 Iron, that thing was soooo much work I would not do it again... /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

    I figured you would say that. They want like $950 for the same design you made except with the side bar protection. Oh well, I still need those blocks. I will measure to get the correct bolt length and email you today.
