As the title says. Any advice?
Okay, never mind. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif Anybody that needs to know how to do it, let me know, and I have part #'s.
I changed mine today.....i learn as i go. It was not too hard, just a little stiff now, but seals nicely.
did you change them because they leaked? I was looking for the source of leaking in my truck in the rear and it appeared to be coming from the weather strip...bottom of the rear glass on the topper....is this a similar problem?
Yes, I was getting water. The exterior seal was brittle and cracked and was letting a lot of water run down inside the tailgate. I used a hose to determine that the water was actually coming out of the access cover to the tailgate. Sealed that up and replaced the seals and all is dry now. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
