    anyone running 38\'s and 5:1\'s?

    anyone running 38's and 5:13's? whats your rpms like? i will be going to a bigger tire but probably not for another year /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif and i only want to do gears once lol

    <font color="green"> I was going to run 5.13s with 38s since I couldn't afford to buy 42s right away, I figured that I'd have to push it pretty hard to get up to 55mph. Not that big of a deal, I don't drive the truck that fast anyways. Even with the 42s I'll be spinning like 2700 to be at 65.

    From www.4lo.com, 39s with 5.13s and a 465 -

    55mph - 2430RPM
    65mph - 2872RPM
    70mph - 3093RPM
    80mph - 3535RPM</font color>

    I have 38's and 5.13's on my 72, and i love it, not to great on the street but its worth the tradoff for crawlability(if thats a word) /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    If its a daily driver I would say dont go that low,but if its just for wheelin in rocks go as low as you can.
