How hard was it to drop a Dodge 60 in the rear of your ride? What all was involved.
I have a dodge 70
How hard was it to get in there?
Im not to sure about the dodge 60's but i put a 1972 international Travel all 60 under mine bolted right up. This went in my 72 K5. <font color=red> 1 FN HI K5
new shock mounts, dodge uses angled shocks so you might look to see if you can fab upper mounts
I kept the 1410 yoke and had driveshaft made
hummm I measured the perches on the 60 and they seemed to be really close to mine, but I haven't been to the shop to check yet. I was planning on changing up my shock mounts anyways so that is no big deal. I'd like to know how much off the perches are if anyone has the info?
Is the u joint going to be a different size then a 1/2 ton driveshaft? I would imagine that I will beed to get an adapter type u joint or change the yoke. Will I need to change anything on the brake lines or do they use the same style connections? Can I get extended brake lines for this axel?
