I´ve heard about the re-torquing thing. I just welded mine on and mounted the tire and the outer ring real hard. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Sure like to /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gifsomeone who have used them for some time. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the amount of bolts you have. If you have around 18 with a big tire you will need to re-torque them often. It is the oposite with say 32 bolts and a big tire because each bolt will not have much stress put on it.

How many bolt and what tire size are you running?

    Later,
    Don

I'm interested in the TR's, sice you retorque that often do you find that they actually need it or are the bolts usually still relatively tight?

I run beadlocks that are made here in sweden and are with 18 bolts only and the bolts are 8 millimeters I think it´s almost like 5/16".I run them with Hummer tires 37 12,5 16,5".

I absolutly positively re-torque them after every wheeling trip, mainly because i still drive my beast on the street. and if i dont wheel for a while i check them whenever i get a chance. better to be safe than sorry kinda thing

Here is some info for you Mounting my TR Beadlocks
    Might be helpful.
I have checked mine many times but have not had a problem with them loosining up and have had no leaks.
I would always recommend you recheck them before you go wheelin as I do but like I said, I have not had a problem.
I think you will really like them.

they go through tires faster than the bolts can work themselves loose /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif... Notice the multiple spares AND they take on rubber at pit stops /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
