The pics links are all dead, but it was that young guy with a pic of a K5 on a lift with the whole back suspension dropping out of it on an elliptical setup.

A lot of folks here bashed him hard for it, and he hasn't posted since...... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well that sure took forever to read. Looks like some people like to put down fast before they think.

I spoke with Josh a while after he got that truck on the road. I think I saw it in the background of a trail run as well, all flexed up. He said everything came together well and he was ironing out a few kinks not related to the suspension. Its been a few months since I've heard from him though. Nice work!

Ha ha I remember that. His GF got all pissed at Michelle for making a comment about them being cute. Then she PM'ed me with a nasty reply when I PM'ed the guy about the set up and some questions. I personally thought it was really cool and was a neat idea and would have loved to have seen some pics of it in action...

I have always wanted to do a QERS, but every time I start to do one, I always end up using coils instead. I cant see the advantage of leafs, unless you want to hang your rear axle way out from the back of the rig. Any reasons you guys want to use QERS over coils?

Something about having the axle just hanging out there with seemingly nothing holding it in place is COOL! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
    That and its cool

That truck belongs to Josh. I don't think he comes around here much. For everybody that bashed his truck here is my take on it. Yes it was a little crude looking but he DROVE it from NY to the UCP run at Paragon. It flexes better then 99.9% of the trucks here. I have a ton of pics of it. If somebody knows a place that is free that hosts photos and lets you upload them to other websites unlike webshots I'll see about posting some of them with the truck flexing. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
