[IMG] I'm starting to get the thot you and I are the only ones talking about this!! I won't be ready to get some for a few months anyway, so you may have to be the tester. Talk to who you order them thru and ask if they have a double thickness center like the barts and what the warranty and return policy is. Take them to a shop that has a balancer to check the rim for it being outta round before they mount the tires. We have one of those at work I'm pretty sure its a Hunter machine. Wheel Vint. has a good rep from what I've heard and should do a good job. Let me know what you find.

Ok I'll join in!! Do either of you know how much they cost?? All I know is that I ordered 1 Bart wheel similar to the WV 81 series, just to see how they looked, and the chroming was HORRIBLE!! You could still see the grinding marks under the chrome, and the chrome didnt even go all the way into the rim. Where the lug mounting met the rest of the rim it was all rusted... needless to say I was not impressed AT ALL!! Maybe I just got a bad one, I have that kind of luck, you know like there are thousands and thousnd of parts that go out with no complaints or problems and I get the ONE thats screwed up!! Kinda like your tranny problem huh!! I might go with WELDS, but who knows, kinda $$$

Woa, was your wheel used? How much did you pay for it? Where did you get it? The VWs are $85 a piece. Thanks!

The wheel I was putting down was a BART wheel. It was brand new from Summit. It was $85 as well, 15x12. If one of you gets the WV soon , let us know what you think and how the quality and looks are.

I just ordered a set of USWheel White Tracker wheels from Summit. They look just like the WV 82 wheel. Same as the crome only they are white. I ordered 4 in 15x10 8 lug and cost $201 shipped to my door.

Are you sure you did not get the "blemished" wheels? Those are sold for less compared to the "real deal". The blemished wheels are cheaper cuz, well, you know, they're blemished.

    Hey Wayne,

Do you know if the USWheel White Trackers are powder coated or just painted white. I know that the WV 82's are powder coated, so I was wondering about the USWheels.
    Thanks

    See Ya,
    Keith

I called Tyres International today, I was going to place my order, but the guy said they were out of the VWs. 4-6 weeks before they would get more. F that! So I am looking at different brands now, I'm thinking of getting the barts, they are $99 each w/ free shipping from Summit. Anyone have any opinions? The problem if I get the tires and wheels from different places is I am having trouble finding anywhere locally that will mount and balance 36" tires, which is pissing me off. Thanks!

Barts are the way to go over WV from a load capacity point of view. The Wheel Vintiques (from what i remeber) only have a 1500lb load rating - not much of a "monster" wheel to me. The Barts are in the high 2000 lb range (2850 I think) but I've heard issues about their chroming too. Best would be a powder coated Bart for load & finish, I guess!!

    Good Luck
