Anyone up for a mud fest some Saturday?

My friends own a few hundred acres between Ottawa, IL and Marseilles, IL on the south side of the Illinois river.

I spent all day out there Saturday and had a great time.

If you don't have good tires this isn't the place for you though. There are trails all through the woods, a swamp, and some pretty good sized mud holes.

I can invite people and take a few at at time down there. If you're anti-mud, forget it. While it is mostly trails and there is some flex out there, many of the obstacles are very muddy and some pretty deep (we had two locked rigs on 44" Boggers stuck this weekend and I got stuck twice in my truck with 38.5s).

Anyone up for it? If you're afraid of body damage or mud this isn't the place for you, but if you want to have a good time, I'd be more than happy to put it togehter.

Not next weekend though because I have drill, but I'll probably be going the following weekend.

In a fullsize rig on 31s you'd probably have a really rough time, and that is an understatement.

I would love to come out that way for some good old mud. Once my truck is in tip top shape I'll have to plan something.

I don't know about driving all the way here for the trails we have, but you'd have a good time, that's for sure.

I make it up to that area quite often. Peru, Ottawa and Marseilles. There is a lot of ground up there that looks GREAT for wheelin, but I'm usually there in an semi truck (not a very capable trail rig! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
