Does anyone use Marine grease in their wheel bearings or u-joints? Just wondering how it holds up, as my truck is a DD and an off-road vehicle.

I just repacked my bearings with it for the next time my truck goes for a swim /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

    thanks

I DO!!!! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Ido mainly mud and that stuff is perfect. i soak my ujoints in it too, it makes them last longer in the water. O, if u like to mud, but dont like clean up then use some Armor All. the mud will flake off and clean up is simple.

Been using Marine grease since I lost my first hub, I pack the crap out of the the entire hub assembly just to keep water out, also use it wherever I have serts to grease, great stuff. As the previous poster said about armour all, or any silicone tire treatment works just as good, and I also soak everything under the hood except the belts.
