just put one on a 78 350 motor to put in my jimmy w/ a 305.Adapter plate would not fit with egr,So I had to find old intake without it.It sat the throttle body back about a inch to far so the tv (kickdown)cable won't adjust properly so I have no 3rd gear.2 mechanics and a transmission shop told me to get a different intake and get rid of the adapter plate,or It will never shift right.(been adjusted as much as possible)It would have been worth the extra money for the right Intake because now I have to buy it anyway /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
