I'm gonna do an engine swap on my 91 suburban. I'm gonna buy a new vortec crate motor. It dosent come with exhaust manifolds, so my question is is it worth the expense for headers? It seems like the stock manifolds are already pretty good and I can get them cheap used. Is there a great improvement with headers or should I put my money elsewhere? Thanks

I have Doug Thorley headers, my engine builder said they are the best, they will not worp and they
will increase the torque....I have a 350 vortec...they are pricey, around 450$...he has had hison his
truck for fifteen years, no problems....
