Ok, Ive done alot of rearends but never done a d-44. they are a pain if you never done one and getting strait answers from shops is not happening. I was in the dreaded gear change and carrier change hell looking for perfection /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

so after all that I saw it was no harder than any other ive done except a few details, it just requires a few special tools that are spendy and I fingered out how to fab them and was wayyy cheap.
If anyone .......say more than 15 people wanna see a writeup, or steve wants one, ill do one with pics of everything.

I would definitely like to see a write-up. Not being able to find out how to do it is the main reason I am still running the 3.08's instead of the 3.73's!
