At the beginning they poured this really cold liquid to freeze the tar, anyone have any idea what that liquid is called?
Also, does anyone remember that grilled cheese sandwhich on ebay that "had" a impression of mona lisa or someone on it? That was mentioned on CSI. I thought it was pretty neat.
    anyways...

    1. Liquid Nitrogen - Very fun, freeze things, then smash them

    2. Grilled Cheese - Yet another reason I hate America, and on another level, people

    ROJ!? HAHAHAHAHAH!

You can't just go GET it, but I don't think it's highly illegal. Suspect as hell though. Plus, you have to carry it in a special container.

    INSTANT frostbite, permanent tissue damage

Dry ice is easier to get. Try a grocery store. They use it at parties to make "smoke".

NO MATTER HOW MUCH I SAY I AM A BADASS AND YOU ARE TOO, DO NOT GO MAKING DRY ICE BOMBS

    BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD

Well, a bit in a 2L pop bottle with some water then the cap on, makes a large loud pop

If you put dry ice in water, it gives off vapor very fast, making pressure, in a sealed container, it will explode it.

They use dry ice to CHILL THINGS! Make em cold, cold like a motha!

Yes, you can buy it. In fact, one of the other deputies at my department has a brother that can make ice cream out of it and yes, it's good stuff. :D

You don't necessarily have to have a special container. I did a demonstration with liquid nitrogen in grade school science class. I carried the liquid in an old coffee thermos. Metal on the outside and glass on the inside. By the way, the demonstration included freezing a raquetball and a rose and breaking them like glass and freezing a goldfish and then puttin it back in the water and watchin it come back to life.

    Kinda fun.:)

I've often wondered what kind of counseling the goldfish could have needed for the near death experience. Whether he was hovering above his then cold dead body seein the light and then sucked back down at the last moment or just what. Prolly didn't like the look of all us goofy lookin grade schoolers I bet.

By the way, the goldfish lived for quite a while after bein frozen and then revived so no animals were harmed in the experiment.;)

I've had liquid nitrogen poured into my hand before :)

If you keep your palm open, it starts boiling by the heat your body radiates, and doesn't actually touch your skin. It just sorta floats on the gas cloud produced underneith the liquid nitrogen due to it boiling rapidly :)
