The mini-van that my son's mother drives blew a water pump today and needs to have it towed back to her parents place to get fixed.

Normally I wouldnt worry about it, but its the only transportation that my son (5 months old) has.

So... anyone got some time and a trailer?

When do you need it done? My husband and me have some time tomorrow night and our 16' trailer. Let me know.

unfortunately she needs it done today... I am guessing that the water pump just gutted its self after she drove down germantown road. Thankfully my son wasnt in the van.

I think she is going to call AAA... though I think they have a 10 mile limit.

    Oh well.

My AAA has a 100 mile limit. Don't know if others are different. Had my Explorer towed from just outside Eugene up to Portland so that I could replace my intake manifold gasket (which went tits up like 2 months later again).

hehehe yeah someone had a AAA card that she was able to borrow. Though I am more than a little concerned about the safety of the van with 170k miles on it. oh well, I guess I will keep my mouth shut until it breaks down with my son in it.

/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I love my new exhaust! Thanks! Its idling real high right now and I cant make it idle down. I took the damn idle screw out and it still idles around 1600 rpm. I think the choke may be getting stuck or something. if its not one thing its another.

No problem man. Hey, if any of that works for me let me know. I haven't been around my truck for almost 2 months so I haven't tried any of that stuff out to see if it works or not.
