Then you probably need to know more about it

    Gunmanship:

No factor of power, speed, bullet weight or style, action, etc, matters if you can't hit your target.

    Practice a LOT

    Rifle > Shotgun > Pistol > Nothing

    Obey the rules, stay safe.

    - Be aware of your target and what is beyong it.
    - Be aware of your weapons capabilities.
    - Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to gire
    - Do not fire at anything you are not willing to kill and/or destroy.
    - Do not POINT THE GUN at anything you are not willing to kill and/or destroy unless it is triple checked to be clear and or disabled.
    - Don't get trigger happy.
    - Shoot it untill is stops moving and then stop shooting it.

    A good holster is important.

No one ever regretted having too much ammunition in a gunfight.

    Reliable > Acurrate > Capacity > Power

You need to see it to shoot it.

    Guitars:

    Uh, they're ****ing cool.

"Radio" is easy to play, so is "Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh"

If you're buying an amp, buy a big one, don't argue, just do it. You'll regret a small one.

Guitar playing, even at it's simplest, is very rewarding.

    Dropping Some Useless N2O Knowlege

Nitros Oxide (N2O, two parts nitrogen and one part oxygen) does not burn. Interestingly enough, at 565 degrees F, the nitrogen molecules separate from the oxygen. The oxygen is used with the fuel in the combustion process and the two parts nitrogen pass right on through.

If you want an acoustic, you can afford to be a bit cheap and go with a well known brands low end model, or even cheaper and still get a decent rig. Steel strings, IMO.

If you want an electric, buy a name brand, and buy a few levels up from entry. I play a ESP EC50. $200. Badass. Metallica plays on ESP.

BUY THE BIGGEST AMP YOU CAN GET! You can dick with settings on the guitar to try and get volume, but it's all in the amp. The guitar controls are for adjusting the sound of the guitar, not the volume, well in part they are, but......... JUST BUY A BIG AMP! 60watts min. Maybe 30w. No, 60w.

    Pickups - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickup_(guitar)

Humbucker - Eliminated single pickup hum at the cost of some tone.

Oh yeah, you know this already but, you can totally blow the bottom off a beer bottle by filling it almost all the way up with water and smacking the top level with an open palm very hard. It's awesome.

Hand hurts if you hit it really hard, naturally. Yes, you need the water. I imagine there is some hydraulic effect taking place, transferring energy to the bottom of the bottle.

same trick works if you fill the bottle at full as possible (ie: enough to make surface tension) then jam a finger in there to plug it and rip it back out.

I thought there was no such thing as cold just the abscence of heat

    -273.15*C = absolute zero = 0* K

Exactly,,,heat can neither be created nor destroyed,,,only transfered.

-459 degrees --Absolute Zero--the theroretical point at which all molecular activity is thought to stop. It has never been proven.the closest they have come is a few billionths (0.000,000,001) of a degree above Absolute Zero...
