I spoke with a guy at ARB today, he assured me that their next locker will be the 10.5 inch 14 bolt rearend. He guessed it would be mid summer when it came out. They should know more in feb. He told me to call back then. If this is true I wont have to swap my 14 bolt for a dana 70 /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

DYNATRAC has ARB's for the 14bolt only $699, so their ad says.

They make one for the 9.5" semi-floater, but not the 10.5" full-floater.

According to their ad it specifically says 14bolt 10.5" $699.95 on page 81 of the new Four Wheeler. I guess it is a misprint, maybe I will call up and test theira ad.

I love my Detroit offroad....but I do get tired of the "swaying-effect" that it causes on the highway every time I either "coast" or re-apply the gas.

o know that's getting picky...but I'm determined to preserve as MUCH of the street manners as I can on my K5. Once an e-Locker is available for the 14BFF, that's what I'll be saving up for!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I wouldn't want an ARB out back and have to mess around with lines and engaging it and disengaging it. When an ARB is locked its like a spool so one tire can't spin faster than the ring gear, which can create some pretty good stresses. If you stay easy on the throttle you can't even notice the detroit locking out back, but of course this is on a heavy, long truck with sissy tires and an automatic. It makes a pretty good difference having an automatic because it stays locked between shifts....my buddy has a 6 speed cummins with a detroit in the back and its more noticable.

Offrotec has a selectable locker for the 10.5" 14bolt coming out soon. They also plan one for 2 1/2 ton rockwells. www.killeraxles.com
