Are all of the NV-4500 mounting ears to Bell Housing the same. In other words, will a NV-4500 bolt up to a Dodge or GM Bell House on the Tranny Side of the BH. I have the chance to pickup a nice 1999, NV-4500 that was in a Dodge. But I want to bolt the tranny on a GM BH. My Cummins 4BTA already has a GM BH adapter and starter so I can save a lot of bucks if I can bolt the Dodge NV-4500 to the GM Bell House. Any reason to stay away from a 1999, NV-4500 with the new 5th gear nut mod done.

    Thanks
    Paul

The '91-94 (95?) GM NV4500 has the two lower bolt holes in a different spot than the Dodge. It can be redrilled though.

Don't think about using the SM465 bell on the NV4500 - doesn't work:
