Are my 90 GM 10 bolts 8.5" ?

    I know in 88 they changed from 28 spline to 30 spline, but did they st
    ay 8.5" ?

    Its still an 8.5 . Cars and s-10's got smaller 10 bolts often , but never the full sizes .

    You might want to confirm what spline axles you have. I believe that the 10 bolts didn't get 30 spline shafts until 89, not 88. But, it may be possible that some sneaked in .. :dunno:

    Yeah, some 30s sneaked in in '88. They didn't go to 8.6" until 99 for the Silverado. The 8.2 was mostly in the 70's on cars.

    But as far as I understand the R&P is still the same and the carriers can be made to fit the older stuff with different bearings.

    Same with the 7.5/7.6" axles (in s10's).
