Do you live close to a radio tower?

I doubt they're junk. Ever read that FCC label on a piece of electronic equipment? I've had the same thing happen to me a couple of times. I just bought a different one and it went away.

Try shielding them? My old tv used to get a radio station over the audio. I moved it into another room and the problem went away. What kind of speakers are they?

LOL@hats /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Sorry I was kind of vague there. By shielding them I meant moving them away from anywhere where you'd get strong radio signals. I found some tips here: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000411.htm
They probably explain it better than I can. Although something I didn't see there that you could try is hooking up some other speakers or headphones to where your speakers plug into the computer. If you get the interference on something other than the speakers then you know it's not the speakers that are getting the interference.
