Are there 6 lug axles that are bolt on that are stronger than my 10 bolts?

I just bought new 6 lug wheels and I'd rather not eat them. Thanks

The Dana 44 and 10 bolt are about equal in strength, but those are for the front axle, which usually last longer than the rear because the yare not c-clip axles, and they are usually not turning, so they dont wear out as fast. There are some 6 lug 14 bolt SFs that can be found in heavy 1/2 tons and some Z71s.

If you have a 30 spline carrier, then a 12 bolt axle will fit...you must gring down the nub end just a bit, but it'll work...I would contact Moser for their 1340H axles and see if they would grind them for you to the 10B length (I know it's just a couple thousandths)...I run 1340H axles in my 12B well worth the extra coinage...JD
