    Nope. I'm not going to have kids unless that's what it takes to hang onto my dream girl, spend all of my money on worldly posessions and investments for my own benefit, and make fun of stupid people mercilessly, I've got a good head start going too.

    A Legacy??

    Isn't a Legacy a forigen car??..:thinking: ..

    I'm about broke,so no "legacy" will I leave behind..in fact,if I don't start making some money somehow,I wont be here long,I WILL be leaving!..permanently!..you see,I developed a severe addiction..too FOOD,Shelter,and Clothes!..and without any money,you get no food,shelter,or clothes..no food,shelter or clothes == no life eventually!..
    :doah::(

    Even if I DID have a lot of "earthly goods"..I'd be very picky about WHO gets what,after I'm gone....I agree with Paul...not many people gave me much while growing up..I had to earn it,or at least deserve it..no brand new cars on my graduation day..

    I see people who've inherited lots of wealth,and suddenly think they own the world,and use their wealth to look down the noses of others,who "used" to be their friends,when times were not so rosy..I'd only give to those I knew deserved it,or had helped me when I was down..I have no wife,girlfriend,kids..heck,even "my" cat is actually not even "mine"..my mother buys the food..so at least no "dependents" to leave behind...or money or estate too...

    so NO!..

    I'm not leaving a legacy..I could leap from a building,and be lucky to leave a stain...thats how much I have to "leave behind"..:rolleyes: :p:

    I meant more so that youw ould live in the hearts and minds of humanity, to any extent.

    I was just thinking I really need to get at it, to ever equal or surpass the ghosts that stand behind me.

    Does it really matter if we ever make a big enough dent for humanity to remember ?

    It takes more than just one person to make life possible for many .

    We should be happy to just contribute while we are here .

    We all have our station in life , and we should accept what we have .

    Not all of us get to have 15 minutes , and even fewer are destined to even be a footnote in some spoiled kids schoolbooks .

    I say live , love your immediate family and friends , work hard , and don't worry about much .

    The older you are the less you have to think about things , life isn't really that hard :thumb:

    if by legacy you mean will people miss me when i am dead?
    i think so, I'm not sure and to be honest i don't really care right now, maybe when i get married and have kids, i might care a little more, but now i am happy with my life as it stands, and that is all i really care about right now.
