I currently have a stock heigth blazer I have just swapped in a 14 bolt ff.I'm going to go with a 4'' tuff country lift with rear blocks.I'm gunna go with a sway bar Q- disconnect,2 shocks in front instead of four. What are some other things I can do to maximize articulation?

I would forget the rear blocks and use a shackle flip of your choice. Another thing that I did was remove the spring clamps that hold the leafs tight together this alone added around 4-5 inches of droop. If you look around with the search button I am sure you will find alot more info on how to make your rig flex like crazy.
    Good luck

good ideal on the spring clamps. but dont remove them just open up the tabs. if a leaf trys to spin it will be held in the pack better. just a idea.

for Articulation, I would go with a rear shackle flip from ORD.... just put the blocks on for now and buy the flip when you get the money... it will give you 4" of lift in the rear..

You may end up wanting to move your rear shock mounts.... Just do a search on here.... look around, there's soooo much stuff to find.

PS: Welcome, its good to see someone else from the Peach State.

First get rid of the blocks and get a shackle flip from Kert at Diy4x or from ORD both of them are vendors on here. There is another vendor on here who has one also but I do not know who it is.

They are not talking about opening up the "eye" of the spring just the clamps that hold the flat of the springs in line with each other.

I will see if I can find a pic of one.

This is what they are talking about removing the bolt from or opening up. Not all of them have a bolt through them some are just bent around the leaves.

Yeah I broke a spring and had removed the clamps. Dug right into the shock. I made a set o guides for the springs just in case but left them able to flex. Getting ready for the lift now.

the ultimit flex is 52 spring swap in front and flip in the rear. . but if no 52 fronts for ya yet. i did all poly bushings in springs and shackles with greasable bolts and flip with hd longer shackles. wow big diffrence from stock .

here are a couple poser pics of my blazer. I have rear shackle flip 14" travel shock all around, in front I have 2.5" lift springs and longer front shackles that have been moved forward to get a better shackle angle, and longer brake lines! These pics show som ok flexing, it can do a little more than what is seen here, but you can get ALOT more flex with 52" front and 56" rear springs.
