I have a streak of totally useless threads going, so I figured I might as well keep it up.

A girl gave me a Family Guy DVD so I'd come back and see her tomorrow. Family Guy rocks, but I'm in a moral dilemma. I'm a long time fan of the Simpsons.

    Which do you prefer?

I never really got into The Simpsons. I watch it whenver I happen to catch it, but that's rare, and Family Guy usually happens to be on when we're drinking, so I see more of that.

I voted Simpson for pure faithfulness to the show. The Family guy does have the raw edge to it and can go where the Simpson cannot.

You gotta love Homer Simpson over Peter Griffin anyday :p:

    while that is true,

    lois > marge
    brian > santa's little helper
stewie is lightyears ahead of maggie.

quagmire and barnie is a tossup though.

noone can deny that brian and stewie are the best animated comic duo ever though. If they try, i'll bet i could sell em a ford.

Simpsons out of faithfulness, been watching them way too long. And Family Guy has that whole east coast thing going, Peter's voice is way more annoying than Bart's any day.

Picked the Simpsons only because my favorite niche show, InuYasha, was not on the list of course. The InuYasha 'filler' episodes (read: episodes that have nothing to do with the main InuYasha storyline) get pretty damn hilarious. I have to say that the funniest InuYasha filler I've seen so far has to be episode #82, "Gap Between the Ages", but I've got a feeling that the first of the next new swathe of new episodes on Cartoon Network will probably be the most funny.

Anyway, in "Gap Between the Ages", Kagome, the school girl from the modern era that travels with InuYasha, comes back to her home time for some R&R and InuYasha decides to come with her, and zaniness ensues as a result! Here's a couple of screencaps:

InuYasha's just experienced a modern shower for the first time (little boy is Kagome's little brother) and he makes the mistake of barging into Kagome's room without any clothes on! What happened here left me laughing till my stomach hurt!

Later, Kagome's at school and forgot her lunch, so InuYasha took it to her, and here he's found he has a flea he needs to scratch (remember he's part dog-demon) so he handles it in his instinctive dog-natured fashion!

Uh, I got a feeling I hi-jacked this thread. Did I? If I did, I'd like to apologize.
